AUDI 2002 A4
METHOD 1:
At time of programming, ALL KEYS (up to 4) MUST BE PRESENT and programmed together!
You will need two keys.
1.) Open the driver side door with the "valet key", saving the "main key" for the next step. Turn the ignition switch to ON, but do not start the car. Leave that key in that position and continue on to the next step.
2.) Close and lock the driver side door with the "main key".
3.) Hold down both buttons on the fob for about 5 seconds. The lights should begin to flash and and the alarm horn should sound.
4.) Open the door and remove the key from the ignition. Close the door and lock it with the key that was just removed from the ignition.

METHOD 2 - Programming a SECOND remote:
1.) Switch ignition ON.
2.) Lock vehicle mechanically at the left front door using the second key.
3.) Press the "UNLOCK" button on the first remote key once (this assigns memory address to this remote key).
NOTE: This should sound the alarm briefly each time the "unlock" button is pressed to confirm that the reception of the signal during this process.
4.) Wait 6 seconds after sending the last signal and then press the "unlock" button again.
5.) Press the "unlock" button on the second remote key twice at 1 second intervals (to assign memory address to remote key number 2).
6.) Wait 6 seconds after sending the last signal, then press the unlock button again.
7.) The doors should now unlock and the 2nd transmitter programmed.
Repeat these steps for any additional remote units (up to 4).
8.) Switch ignition OFF.
